Huntswood Golf Club was opened in 1996 and has all the facilities that you would expect from a modern golf club. Its friendly atmosphere means you are made to feel welcome right from the outset and is one of the reasons why it one of the most popular pay and play venues in the area. Huntswood Golf Club is a par 69 parkland course that measures 5,613 yards in length. Although not long by modern standards the course still provides an enjoyable challenge for all levels of golfer. There are a number of good holes, but probably the signature hole is the par 5 18th which is a great finishing hole. Big hitters can get up in two, but any shots left will find the lake just left of the green and any shots right will find the strategically placed bunkers. Avoid these two hazards and you could be on for a birdie finish…if not you could rack up a big number which is never a good way to finish.
