Murcar Links Golf Club - Strabathie Course

The Strabathie course is a 9 hole course located next to the Murcar Course. Although shorter at 5364 yards the course still provides a very stern test with great deal of course management required due to the winding “Strabathie” burn meandering through the centre of the course. On a number of holes longer hitters will need to decide whether to “lay up” of the burn or open the their shoulders and gain some risk and reward. Greens are small with some having more undulations than others so even though hitting green in regulation does not mean walking off with a guaranteed birdie. Nine holes on the Strabathie course acts as a nice warm up in advance of a visit to the Murcar Course.
