Whittlebury Park Golf Course is situated in the lovely rolling countryside of south Northamptonshire with hundreds of ancient oak trees and a dozen lakes once forming part of the royal Whittlewood forest. Whittlebury Park Golf & Country Club features one of the UK’s finest championship golf courses complimented by the wonderful Atrium Clubhouse - twice winner of 'UK Clubhouse of the Year' and the largest in Europe, their venue is the ideal location for an enjoyable golf break. Their championship golf course offers 36 holes benefitting from 4 loops of 9 holes each with their own unique character. Due to the STRI & USGA accredited greens playable in any combination, this means that you do not have to play the same round of golf twice. Royal Whittlewood Course plays around the remaining copses of the ancient Royal Whittlewood Forest home to a wealth of flora and fauna which apparently made the forest a favourite hunting ground of Medieval Kings. It’s hard to believe that for most of the 20th Century the estate was a working farm before being transformed in 1991 to become the 36-hole Championship Golf Course you see today. If you’re not playing golf, then why not relax in their comfortable Clubhouse (twice winner of 'UK Clubhouse of the Year' and the largest in Europe) which overlooks the courses. You will find that the staff will be on hand to serve you while you unwind and settle down in their comfortable leather sofas. When unwinding why not watch all the major sporting events on Sky TV on their flat screen TVs. You will also find that the club have a wide range of facilities such as their Fitting Centre, a Pro-Shop, a 300-yard-long driving range and the best short game facility in the county.
