Wildwood Green Golf Club is a semi-private course that rambles through an attractive neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. Ever since it opened in 1986 it has been one of the best and most popular upscale places to play in Raleigh. Wildwood Green Golf Club underwent a major redesign in 1996 by course architect John LaFoy that elevated the golf experience further, and it has only gotten better since Bermuda grass greens were introduced in 2017. In-the-know locals and visitors choose to play Wildwood Green Golf Club because of its intriguing layout, fine conditions, beautiful setting and surroundings, and nice amenities. Routed over gently rolling terrain, Lafoy s redesign is fun for everyone. With seven different sets of tees to choose from, the course is manageable for players of diverse ages and skill levels. The par-70 Wildwood Green Golf Club challenges longer-hitting, accomplished players at its 6,430-yard maximum distance, while at the other end of the spectrum, two sets of family tees provide short and sporty games at 3,023 yards and 4,058 yards. Though generous fairway landing areas provide room to miss, the primary challenge comes from keeping your ball in play as the holes churn through distinct corridors lined by trees and houses. Wildwood Green Golf Club features a handful of water holes, including, most notably, two par-3 tests that are all-carry over a lake. The medium-large greens present inviting targets. You ll find restrained slopes and undulations on the putting surfaces, but they can run very fast. Wildwood Green Golf Club prides itself on providing players with meticulously landscaped golf grounds and top-notch customer service.
