Golf Courses in Frisco, TX

One of the fastest growing cities in the United States, Frisco offers job opportunities, culture, great restaurants and parks, a vibrant sports scene and plenty of golf, both on the private and public side. The city, which has more than 200,000 people and is a northern suburb of Dallas, is the home of the FC Dallas soccer club of Major League Soccer and has played host to both the MLS championship match as well as the NCAA FCS national championship game. It's also where you'll find the Texas Rangers' AA team, the Frisco RoughRiders. Frisco, however, is also the new home of the PGA of America, as of 2022. The move for the PGA includes the building of two championship golf courses that will host majors in the coming years. The new courses are in addition to plenty of established public and private venues, where visitors and locals alike can get tee times. Some of the best public facilities include the Gary Stephenson-designed Frisco Lakes Golf Club and the Trails of Frisco, a Jeff Brauer layout. The Westin Stonebriar Resort & Country Club, which has both a private and resort course (designed by Tom Fazio), also provides top-notch golf.
